Sunday is Pentecost. We baptize two who are entering into Christ and making this declaration of their faith. Baptism is a sacrament of moving to the NEW that is found in Christ. It is symbolic of HIS death, burial, and resurrection and ours as well. As we participate in this sacrament, we reflect on its significance and meaning. We further reflect on how and what the SPIRIT’s coming did to our faith, giving gifts, and shaping our life and values. Its impact in life and history is much more significant than we at first see or realize. And we might boldly say, that is has been more significant in our lives, than we have imagined. Why is the SPIRIT so involved in our lives?
